HottHe of the Week...Elle

How would you describe your style? 

If Stella McCartney had a baby with Helmet Lang, and that kid married Zac Posen, and then their child’s offspring had an affair with Tom Ford, then that little tyke would grow up to be the designer that most describes my style. In other words it’s an uptown, downtown collaboration. 

Who is Your Style Icon?

Kate Moss - Raiding her closet would be better than if double fudge chocolate cupcakes could be calorie-free.

Favorite item you own? 

Currently my Zara spike belt is heavy in the rotation. It seems to add the perfect gold touch to any outfit plus if I ever got in a situation it could double as a weapon!

Who are your Favorite Designers?

Newer on the scene, designer Peter Pilotto is kicking ass and taking names! His collaboration with Christopher De Vos has thus far produced perfection.

Bundled Up

As you know, (if you read my blog regularly) I am not a polar bear in disguise....in fact I detest cold weather!  Anything below 50 degrees fahrenheit and I’m not a very happy buddha.  My only reprieve is through layering and stylish outerwear, which is precisely why I’m bat $#*! crazy for this jacket.  It is the perfect solution for my winter blues.  With a shearling bodice it’s warmer than an August beach day in Miami, but still mad trendy with it’s unique silhouette and leather sleeves.  Eureka!

How Much Is That Doggie in the Window?

When it comes to pets, I’m definitely a dog person.  Doggies are my fave not only because they are soft and cute, but also because they give unconditional love and can be taught to do just about anything...even to drive! I wish people were more like dogs.  We would go around licking each other, wagging our tails, and occasionally throw out a couple of barks.  Forget planet of the apes I want to relocate to planet of the dogs!  Arf. Arf.
