Having a moment right now in my wardrobe is the black, white and cobalt blue combo!  The colors are perfect compliments to each other and it's a variation on the black and white trend that is currently DOMINATING the fashion industry.  Don't get me wrong I love a black and white look as much as the next fashion drone, but in staying true to my bulletin board post-it, "Don't be like the rest of them Darling,"  I added blue for a pop of color.  How does your inner maverick speak to you?

Building Bridges

Going through life burning bridges is not fashionable.  Rather, keeping your word, laughing often, and treating people with the respect you wish to receive is the mad fabulous way to live.  (These pics were taken under a bridge, hence the reference :)  In holding true to my word, then, just like I said it would, my affection for leather/pleather has continued to be off the charts.  This fall my leather collection grew faster than the Marant Bekkett’s were knocked off.  Leather took over my closet, and while I adore each and every piece; it is all in one color; onyx!  With Spring fast approaching, though, I have turned the page and taken a shine to lovely leather garments in whites, neutrals, and pastels.  Thus far, I don’t see an end in sight, for this irresistible trend, so stay tuned to my blog for more leather/pleather!

It’s no secret that Diamonds are a girl’s best friend.  I don’t know what it is about those little sparklers, but they light up my world like the fourth of July!  (And people say Christmas shopping for me is difficult? :) Diamonds, though are not the only thing I’m bonkers about.  I am also head over heels for the pretty pastel palette that is headlining for Spring 2013.  My love affair with these sorbet hues started young...one Easter Sunday back in the day....but I’m so gleeful that those beautifully colored eggs have found their way into fashion!  With

colors that include ballet pink, sky blue, mint, pale yellow, and lavender who can resist?

How Much Is That Doggie in the Window?

When it comes to pets, I’m definitely a dog person.  Doggies are my fave not only because they are soft and cute, but also because they give unconditional love and can be taught to do just about anything...even to drive! I wish people were more like dogs.  We would go around licking each other, wagging our tails, and occasionally throw out a couple of barks.  Forget planet of the apes I want to relocate to planet of the dogs!  Arf. Arf.
